Book Description

AMAZON #1 NEW RELEASE IN BUSINESS & MONEY SKILLS

The world has never offered more tools for creating. It has also never offered more distractions.

Every day brings new platforms, new trends, new algorithms, and new technology promising the next shortcut to success. Yet the principles behind meaningful creative work have never changed.

Artism Rules is a practical manifesto built around ten timeless principles for artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians, designers, photographers, creators, and anyone determined to make work that lasts. Instead of chasing every trend, this book focuses on the habits, mindset, and creative discipline that remain valuable no matter how technology changes.

Inside, you'll discover how to:

Develop stronger creative taste instead of following trends.

Use AI and modern tools without losing originality.

Build on platforms you own instead of depending on algorithms.

Protect creativity from constant distraction and digital noise.

Share work in ways that build genuine community.

Keep curiosity and experimentation alive without turning every passion into a business.

Create with greater purpose, consistency, and confidence.

Filled with practical exercises, memorable examples, and clear lessons, Artism Rules is more than a book about creativity. It is a reminder that great work has always begun with human imagination, thoughtful choices, and the courage to start before everything feels perfect.

The tools will continue to change.

The principles never will.

Author Biography

John Mediana is a creative director, a lifelong maker, and the son of immigrants who taught him to own something of his own. He coaches multi-figure entrepreneurs and recruits creative teams.

The impact of his work reaches billions of organic views a month, but his real subject is the thing no algorithm can replicate: a human being deciding to create.

In Artism Rules, he argues that the maker was never the machine. We are made by a Maker, to make, carrying the fingerprint of God into everything we build. AI is not a replacement for taste or judgment. It is the newest material on the workbench, and the hand that arranges it still matters.

He writes for artists, builders, and anyone who suspects their creativity is worth more than the market has told them. He lives with his wife, Brittany, and their three boys.
