Book Description

Words for when prayer is hard. Strength for when the season is heavy.

A beautiful and powerful collection of scripture-based declarations for moments when faith must be spoken before it is felt. Birthed in prayer and forged in the fire, each decree carries the authority of Heaven and is meant to be spoken in faith.
Inspired by Solomon’s House of the Forest of Lebanon―a sacred armory where gold shields and trophies of victory were stored―this book is a spiritual armory of its own. Not for display, but for use.

Organized by theme, House of the Forest offers life-giving declarations for every season, including:

Decrees of Health and Healing
Decrees over Family and Relationships
Decrees over Identity and Struggles
Decrees over Suffering and Crisis
Decrees for Home and Daily Life

House of the Forest is a gift for the weary, the believing, and the barely holding on―a reminder that God is present, faithful, and that nothing is impossible with Him.

Author Biography

Tara is the author of Declarations in the Desert and House of the Forest—books written in the depths of hidden seasons where the wilderness of life has pressed, refined, and revealed. She carries a deep conviction to give language to the unseen and crushing places so many walk through, to bring a voice to what feels buried, and to lead others into breakthrough through truth and authenticity.

A mother of four, Tara’s life is marked by both battle and breakthrough—facing life-threatening health crises within her family and contending in faith when outcomes were uncertain. Her journey has been anything but ordinary—from a Division I soccer player to an internationally award-winning photographer, traveling to 54 countries before God radically redirected her path. Tara and her husband, Clint, founded Project R12, a nonprofit that has impacted over 500,000 lives in rural Uganda through hope, restoration, and sustainable change. Together, Tara and Clint pastor His House Nashville, a church devoted to building a pure altar of worship in Spirit and truth unto King Jesus.

Tara’s voice carries the weight of lived revelation, calling others out of survival and into victory.
